One Snatch done 400 times

One snatch done 400 times.

What the hell does that mean?

Jordan Vezina will tell you.

Get it now? One snatch done 400 times.

That is a great point, and it can be applied to just about any lift you do that depends on solid technique: bench press, squat, deadlifts, clean and jerk, Olympic snatch, gripper squeezes. And the list goes on.

Rob Russell Watch - 60kg KB for 20 Reps!

Ya gotta love seeing big kettlebells get moved around. Believe me, I know doing hundreds of reps with a smaller one is intense and extremely challenging, but I just can't get enough of Rob Russell's feats with kettlebells. This dude is freakin' strong.

Check out Rob's site Kettlebell Training for Sport.

Brett Jones Bringing the Kettlebell and Grip Feats

Brett Jones has been a great ketlebeller for a while, but it's been some time since I heard of him doing grip stuff. In this compilation, Brett brings some big grip feats to the table at the 2007 RKC in Denmark. I'd love to see where he's at now with the grip stuff. The way he manhandles the Dragondoor Beast Kettlebell, it looks likehis support grip is on point.

Mike Hanley - MMA Kettlebell Complex

From Mike Hanley, here is a video of Chris Fanelli performing a kettlebell complex, a succession of different kettlebell movements linked together in one giant set, for Mixed Martial Arts conditioning.

This is a great ground based movement. It looks like this would be very intense to complete, especially as fast as Chris motors through it. Complexes like this are outstanding for pushing the lactic acid threshhold.

Video: David Whitley - 40kg Kettlebell Bottoms Up Press

This is an impressive feat of strength, both due to the sheer weight of the kettlebell being pressed, and the grip strength challenge of keeping the bell upright throughout the range of motion.

Slashers to Halos

Via TheFightGeek.org, here is a video from Conditioning Research, showing a very cool exercise, the Slasher to Halo combo.

This looks like it will be a great movement for core strength and shoulder stability. I want to try it out with our 95-lb kettlebell.
